Point of lay Isa Brown pullets are available in small numbers at various times of the year at $35 each. They are vaccinated against the diseases which commonly affect poultry. Contact us to check availability They can be expected to lay about 300 eggs each year.
We sometimes have a few older birds available for $20.00 each. They should lay productively in a back yard situation for at least another few years - sometimes much longer. We've had customers come back for more five years later saying that the old ones had just stopped laying!
All birds are fully vaccinated and are not de-beaked! Ideal, family friendly birds used to daily interaction with people - and dogs.
Our point of lay birds are generally 15 - 16 weeks old and our older hens are still in their first year of laying.  We keep some hens into their second laying cycle because they tend to lay larger eggs and many of our customers like BIG eggs.
